What is Third Space?

Third Space is a community gathering space away from home and work where people can come together to build relationships. It is an opportunity to meet your neighbors, without an agenda, and spend time with others.

Why Create a Third Space?

We know that as wonderful as technology can be, it can also cause isolation from one another. A space where folks can come together, socialize, and be in the company of others is a valuable resource, providing a moment out of our week where we can take time to be with others, for a cup of coffee and a chat.

Third Space Vision

"Back in the 1900s, our grandparents had a third space - not home, not work, but that in-between spot where life breathed a little easier. A barbershop, a local cafe, the church steps, a garden bench, a park, a book club, a bridge table - no agenda, just regular faces and slow conversations. That's where stories were told, grief was softened, relationships mended, loneliness eased."

No sign-up, no RSVP, no fancy clothes, no agenda, just people showing up as they are. That's Third Space.
