Special Events at Sunrise
Sunrise Presbyterian has several special events occurring throughout the year.
Among those events we normally enjoy:

Easter Matins services. For more than 40 years we have had a brief service and breakfast during Holy Week

Graduation Sunday. Each year during May, our graduating students are honored at a luncheon following Sunday worship.

Summer Picnic. Each summer, we have an outdoor worship and church picnic. This year, it will be the 3rd Sunday of August.

Ice Cream Socials. During the warmer months, we usually have two ice cream socials on a Sunday afternoon.

Holiday Dinner. This year, we will celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with a holiday dinner. This event is a church-wide dinner aimed at providing a Holiday dinner for everyone, especially people who may not have family nearby.

Church Decoration. Each year, we decorate the church the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We take down the decorations at Epiphany. In both cases, that work is followed by a luncheon for all the workers.
